Textiful integrates with Driop and allows you to sync collected email addresses and other information to the Drip account of your choice. You can also trigger new Drip Workflows and send Text Messages from within your Drip Workflows using Actions.

Step 1: Authorize the Drip Integration

First you will need to authorize Textiful to integration with Drip. Click the "Integrations" tab. Find the Drip section and click the link "Click here to integrate Textiful with your Drip account".You will be taken to a page asking for your Drip username and password. Enter your credentials to authorize Textiful to talk with Drip.

Step 2: Enable the Drip Sync

Once Textiful is authorized, you'll need to enable and customize how email addresses are synced to Drip.

On the keyword details page in Step 3, check the "Sync collected email addresses to my email list" box. Below that check the "Sync Emails to Drip" box. 
If you do not see the Drip checkbox, click the "Add more email integration options" link to go to the Integrations page and follow the instructions in Step 1 above.

Step 3: Customize the Drip Sync

Click the "Drip" tab in the left hand navigation to view all of the Drip Sync options.

Select a Drip Account

From the dropdown, select the Drip account that you would like all collected email addresses to be added to. Once emails are captured by Textiful, they will automatically be added to this account.

Trigger Drip Workflows

You can also trigger a Workflow to start when someone joins your keyword by using a custom event trigger with the following steps:

  1. Add a new trigger to your Drip Workflow
  2. Select "Performed a Custom Event" to the right of the Drip dropdown
  3. Enter "Textiful - Subscriber Joined Keyword" in the Custom Event field
  4. [Optional]: You can target those that enroll in a specific keyword by adding a filter. Click "Add a Filter" and set the filter to be "textiful_keyword" "equals" "YOUR_KEYWORD"

Send Text Messages with a Workflow Action

You can have Drip send a text messages to contacts that have joined your keyword.
To comply with text marketing regulations, Textiful will not send text messages to contacts that did not join your list by texting your keyword.

  1. Add a new Action to your Drip Workflow
  2. Select Send an HTTP Post to the right of the Drip dropdown
  3. Set the 'Endpoint URL' to https://textiful.com/webhooks/drip
  4. Add Custom Data that is provided to you by Textiful
    api_key = YOUR_API_KEY
    keyword_id = YOUR_KEYWORD_ID
    message = The text message that you would like to send
Please Note: Text messages have a 160 character limit. Any message over 160 characters will not be sent.
